Modrzew House is situated at the highest and the most intimate part of Karpacz. Build at the turn of the 19th and 20th century (completely renovated in 2004) is enclosed by old pine and larch forest and situated in contiguity of Karkonoski national park. Unusual location of Modrzew house allows to enjoy close contact with nature, silence and clean air. But it also makes it possible, after few-minutes walk, to take advantage of all sights of Karpacz. Fine views are spread from there over whole Karkonosze range, Jelenia Góra valley and Rudawy Janowickie. 

Perfect place both for people who are looking for peace and silence and escape from everyday rush, and for those who go in for recreation. Location directly at the forest path, form which many hiking trails and paths begin, guarantees immediate contact with nature in summer (bicycle, climbing, mountain tourism) and in winter as well (snowboard, skiing, touring).

Short statistics allow fully appreciate all advantages of this place:
- Ski lift to Kopa - 6min (path through the forest)
- Polana (cross-cut of trails to Samotnia, Pielgrzymy, Strzecha Akademicka, Śnieżka) - 20min (path through the forest)
- Wang Church - 10 min- Cycle routes - start from the house!!!! (to tagged routes 2-3 min)- Forest, mushrooms, walks - 10 sec.

Most of used materials and furnishing we selected in relation to its natural origin. Wood, cotton, linen, down have been applied from ages and excellent fit to the human nature. We avoid plastics and materials "identical" with natural (of course everywhere where it is possible and justifiable).
